A quartet of short films with a connecting thread of music: The Oscar-winning short film The Music Box stars Laurel and Hardy as a pair of bumbling piano movers struggling to navigate a steep flight of Los Angeles steps. In the early Technicolor short The Band Concert, bandleader Mickey Mouse and flutist Donald Duck quarrel over their playlist. Sing! is an upbeat look at the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus from Oscar winner Freida Lee Mock (Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision) that was nominated for Documentary Short Subject. In Pixar’s Oscar-nominated short Boundin’, a young sheep copes with an unexpected loss with the help of a friendly jackalope.
